HAV Series Tri-Clamp Air Relief Valve
HAV Series Tri-Clamp Air Relief Valve - Effective Air Removal Without Product Loss
The HAV Series Tri-Clamp Air Relief Valve is designed for applications where removing air from a line without losing valuable product is essential. This valve operates using a ferrule, housing with a polymer ball, and a vent pipe, all connected via standard tri-clamps. Its double-seated design ensures air cannot enter the line under negative pressure. At the same time, the valve opens slightly under vacuum conditions to prevent the entire line from draining too quickly.
Ideal for applications where air pockets form in tube lines or on the suction side of pumps, the HAV Series Air Relief Valve automatically bleeds air before the pump starts, preventing air from binding to the liquid and stopping cavitation. This valve is not designed for liquids with a specific gravity of less than 1.0.

How It Works: The HAV Series Tri-Clamp Air Relief Valve removes air from a line or container without letting the liquid flow. The double-seated valve, featuring a freely moving polypropylene ball, opens or closes depending on pressure conditions. Even under negative pressure, the design prevents air from entering the line or container, maintaining system integrity.
