13MHHM Three Segment Tri-Clamp
Tri-clamps are one of the most common sanitary connection types in North America. It consists of a gasket between two tri-clamp ferrules or flanges which are mechanically tightened in place with a clamp. Made from stainless steel, it is used for piping in the food, beverage, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. Modeled after the original tri-clamp, it has three segments to allow for installation in tight areas. They are verified by both ASME A270 and 3A certifications.
Note:
- Wingnut tightened to 25 in. lb. of torque
Safety Notes
- Service pressure ratings are based on the following parameters: matching elastomer gaskets and weld ferrules properly aligned and assembled with the clamps tightened to required torques. Tests are done hydrostatically with no water hammer or shock loads.
- Please note the pressure ratings of the described unions may be above the recommended pipeline operating pressures.
